This is Jazzi. The latest addition to Kip’s Peace Corps family in Indonesia. His dad, Dede, may be one of the best human beings I have ever met which is saying a lot because I know some really good human beings. Dede came to America for three months when he was Kip’s age (I’m not sure what the conditions were, but I know he was playing bass in LA – jazz, I think :-) ). I suspect Dede is the reason my son is at the top of a mountain in the middle of East Java without running water. Dede has a dream for his little boy (and the village he will grow up in) and my “llttle boy” is going to help him make it happen. It is going to be a challenge, but I think Dede and Kip (and Jazzi) might just pull it off. On a different note (and I’m sure Ralphie is really envious of this), there is a 99.9 % chance that Jazzi has already been on a motorcycle.
